With Developing Technology

We Add Strength to Our Power.

After joining our group, modernization efforts began, and a paper production machine with a capacity of 200,000 tons/year was purchased from Holmen Paper Madrid S.L. The machine was dismantled in the first quarter of 2013, and serious revisions and updates were made to reach the target capacity of 300,000 tons/year. Production started at the Balıkesir SEKA campus. In mid-2019, we began operations as Varaka Paper Industry Inc. with trial productions.

From past to present,

SEKA Balıkesir Paper Factory started operations in 1981 for the production of domestic paper for newspapers and books and was modernized by the Albayrak Group in 2003. In 2013, production began with a machine purchased from Holmen Paper Madrid S.L., upgraded to a capacity of 300,000 tons/year. In mid-2019, the factory began operating as Varaka Paper Industry Inc.

The factory is located on a 1,265,000 square meter area, with 110,000 square meters of covered space along the Balikesir-Bigadiç highway. Its products include Fluting, Testliner (Brown/White/White Coated), Kraft (Imitation), Kraft, and Bag Paper. Advanced technology DCS and QCS systems are used in its production processes.

The factory contributes to the environment by using 100% waste paper, preventing deforestation. Its cogeneration plant produces steam and electricity, while wastewater is processed in a sewage treatment plant, reducing water consumption.
