Energy Management System Policy
As Varaka Paper Industry Inc., in order to improve our energy performance in our activities and contribute to a sustainable future, we commit to the following principles:
- Establishing energy objectives that are consistent with our energy policy and support the purpose of our organization, and providing the necessary information and resources to achieve these objectives;
- Complying with all applicable legal requirements and other obligations related to energy efficiency, energy use, and energy consumption;
- Continually improving our Energy Management System and enhancing energy performance;
- Reducing energy intensity throughout all our production processes;
- Using natural resources and energy efficiently;
- Prioritizing energy-efficient technologies in the design and modernization of our production processes;
- Considering energy efficiency in the procurement of services and products that affect energy performance and supporting energy-efficient purchasing practices;
- Raising awareness among our employees regarding energy management, maintaining effective communication with our business partners, and achieving our energy objectives through a shared understanding;
- Developing and implementing energy efficiency projects to mitigate the impacts of climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions;
- Regularly reviewing, documenting, updating, and maintaining our Energy Management System and Policy;
- Effectively implementing our Energy Management System and progressing with determination toward the continual improvement of our energy performance.
